Dessert! :)

Made my VERY FIRST homemade cheesecake EVER!!! I was so proud of myself! Tim didnt help me at all, (which he usually helps with every meal or dessert we make). It was super easy and SOOO delicious! I had to share the recipe with everyone!!!

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake
24 chocolate sandwich cookies, ground (about 2 3/4 cups), (I used an already made oreo pie crust, tasted just as good.)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup prepared caramel sauce
1/2 cup prepared fudge sauce
1/2 cup pecan halves

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (If making own crust) Combine ground cookies and butter in medium bowl; pat evenly on bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan. Place in freezer while preparing filling.

2. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer until fluffy. Beat in sugar, sour cream, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Pour mixture into prepared crust.

3. Bake cheesecake 30 to 35 minutes or until almost set in center. Cool on wire rack. Refrigerate, loosely cover, 8 hours or overnight.

4. Remove side of springform pan from cheesecake; place on serving plate. Drizzle caramel and fudge sauces over cake; cut cake into wedges. Top each serving with 2 to 3 pecan halves.
                                          Makes 12 servings

What mine looked like :)

Mine obviously wasnt as pretty as the cookbook picture but im sure it tasted just the same. All I can say is that it was DELICIOUS! Now ENJOY!
