Recently Tim and I went to Wisconsin to visit his family and for our new niece and nephews baby blessings. It was so much fun seeing everyone and meeting Andrew and Peyton for the first time. We left August 29 and drove straight through....it took us 26 hours to get there. It was a fun and boring drive. When we got there we just relaxed and watched some TV with the family. Friday, we got to meet our niece and nephew. Eric and Jamie came over with Peyton then we went on a walk with them and Sarah and Andrew. It was a lot of fun seeing the park and Huntington Beach with the fall leaves. Saturday we went to the Zoo with the whole family. We saw jellyfish, kangaroos, tigers, bears, lions, cows, hippos, seals, and many more awesome animals. After 6 hours at the Zoo (it was a very, very big zoo) we went back home and took a nap and just watched movies and relaxed at home. Sunday, we got up early for Andrew's baby blessing and then drove about an hour to Milwaukee to Peyton's blessing. Tim was so happy he was able to stand in the circle and be there for both the blessings. After we went home and ate some delicious dinner and played games. Monday, Tim and his brothers went golfing, while I stayed back at home and did pedicures with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law Carolyn. Later that day we went to Huntington Beach for a bonfire/BBQ. Finally Tuesday came and it was time to go home. We waited until everyone was home from work and school so we could say bye to everyone. That night we stayed in Des Moines, IA hoping if we got a good nights rest we could make it back without stopping.....we were wrong. We made it to Sidney, Nebraska and finally decided after talking about it for 30 mins that we needed to spend the night in Laramie, WY. I called my work and explained to them the situation and they were fine with it. Then Thursday morning got up and left for a 6 hour drive back home....when we got home I had to go into work and help close. LONGEST day EVER! SO glad we were able to go to Wisconsin and glad I was able to spend time with my in laws and get to know everyone much better. It was a fun time and cant wait to go back for Christmas.
